We are pleased to announce the official launch of the EIM – EUSDA Project, a pivotal initiative dedicated to exploring the intersection of migration and sustainable development within the context of the European Union (EU). This project aims to provide in-depth insights into the role of migration in shaping the EU Agenda, as well as its broader implications for sustainable global development.
The launch ceremony was a vibrant and impactful occasion, gathering a diverse and distinguished group of stakeholders. Senior officials from the Federal Government of Somalia, alongside representatives from Federal Member States, BRA officials, University Administrations, lecturers, students, school unions, and numerous civil society organizations, were in attendance. Key partners from INGOs, LNGOs, CBOs, and leaders from civil society also contributed their invaluable expertise and support to the event.
This collaborative gathering highlighted the collective efforts and dedication of all involved in advancing this crucial project. Through this initiative, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of migration’s integral role in shaping sustainable development, while addressing the challenges and opportunities that arise in the evolving global landscape.

By bringing together diverse voices, expertise, and perspectives, we are confident that this project will generate impactful outcomes that resonate both within the EU and globally.
As we move forward, we remain committed to working alongside all stakeholders to foster collaboration, strengthen partnerships, and develop innovative strategies to enhance the intersection of migration and sustainable development.
We look forward to engaging with all partners, as well as the broader community, to ensure that this project not only enhances understanding but also contributes to the creation of long-lasting, positive change for future generations.
