We are excited to announce the launch of our Reproductive, Maternal, and Child Health Indicators Data Analytics Training Workshop! This comprehensive, 3-day workshop is tailored specifically for data analysts from the Ministry of Health – Somalia and Capital University of Somalia. It aims to provide participants with advanced analytical skills in working with critical health data, particularly focusing on maternal and child health indicators. By enhancing their understanding of data trends, patterns, and correlations, this workshop will empower participants to make data-driven decisions that improve the overall health outcomes for mothers and children in Somalia. The training will focus on key aspects such as data collection, data cleaning, data interpretation, and visualizing complex health data to provide actionable insights for health policy development and program improvement.
The training is being facilitated by the highly respected African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), a leading institution in health research and policy. APHRCโs expertise and experience in data analysis, research, and advocacy in the reproductive and maternal health sectors will ensure that the workshop delivers cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills. Participants will learn how to use analytical tools and methods to interpret health data and generate evidence that can drive policy decisions aimed at improving reproductive health, reducing maternal mortality, and promoting child well-being. This workshop is a vital step toward building a strong foundation for data-driven health decision-making and strengthening Somaliaโs health systems. By equipping participants with the necessary skills and tools, we are confident that this initiative will have a profound and lasting impact on maternal and child health in Somalia
