The second year of the Erasmus+ course, “Exploring the Intersection of Migration and EU Sustainable Development: An Insight into the Relevance of Migration for the EU Agenda (EIM-EUSDA),” has been successfully concluded, marking another important milestone in strengthening students’ knowledge and understanding of migration, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
The course was designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the complex relationship between migration and sustainable development while examining the relevance of migration within the European Union agenda. Through interactive lectures, discussions, collaborative learning, and practical exercises, participants explored contemporary migration issues, global development challenges, and the importance of evidence-based approaches to policymaking.
Throughout the programme, students enhanced their understanding of the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of migration and gained valuable insights into the role of international cooperation in promoting sustainable development. The course also strengthened participants’ critical thinking, analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, preparing them to contribute effectively to academic research, public policy discussions, and community development initiatives.
The successful completion of the second-year course was celebrated during a closing ceremony, where certificates were awarded to students in recognition of their dedication, active participation, and successful completion of the programme. The ceremony highlighted the participants’ achievements and their commitment to academic excellence.
