Capital University of Somalia officially launched its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan during a university-wide leadership meeting attended by members of the University’s senior management and administrative leadership.

The launch marks an important milestone in the University’s commitment to strengthening institutional excellence and advancing its long-term vision. The meeting brought together leaders from across the University to introduce the strategic direction, institutional priorities, and key initiatives that will guide Capital University’s development over the next five years.
During the session, participants were introduced to the Strategic Plan’s framework, strategic goals, objectives, and implementation approach. The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration, accountability, innovation, quality education, research excellence, community engagement, and effective governance in achieving the University’s strategic ambitions.



The event also provided an opportunity for leadership to reaffirm their shared commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan through coordinated efforts across all faculties, departments, institutes, and administrative units.
As Capital University of Somalia embarks on this new strategic journey, the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan will serve as a roadmap for sustainable institutional growth, academic excellence, impactful research, and meaningful contributions to national development.
