Capital University of Somalia, in collaboration with Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), the Catholic University of East Africa (Kenya), and the University of Namibia, announces the extension of the abstract submission deadline for the International Conference on Nomadic and Alternative Education Approaches in Africa.
The new deadline for abstract submissions is 16 October 2026.
The conference will take place from 3–6 November 2026 in a hybrid format, with participation across Kano (Nigeria), Mogadishu (Somalia), Nairobi (Kenya), and Windhoek (Namibia).
Under the theme “Strengthening Inclusive and Flexible Education Pathways for Nomadic Pastoralists and Marginalized Learners in Africa,” the conference will bring together researchers, educators, policymakers, and development practitioners to exchange knowledge and explore innovative approaches to expanding access to quality education for nomadic, marginalized, and underserved communities across Africa.
Interested participants are encouraged to take advantage of the extended deadline and submit their abstracts.
